Excel Analysis and Dashboards Training Malaysia

Excel’s ability to integrate and visualize data is the focus of this day long course, using the latest features in Excel. Work through multiple exercises to learn to master the tools of data modelling, analysis and building visuals for effective Dashboards.

Participants will create a data model with a range of data sources using Power Pivot and use Get and Transform to connect and manipulate a range of data sources including cloud databases, websites and Facebook. Learn how to fully utilize Excel to create interactive Dashboards, Charting tools and Visualization techniques.

We complete the course by working through a Case Study pulling all the aspects we teach on the day together.

  • Business Case Study – We start with raw sales data for a Comedy Roadshow. We model the data using PowerPivot, creating relationships and the necessary calculations to build our interactive Dashboard for assessing Sales performance and profitability across various cities. Jason is a good instructor. Knows his stuff and goes in depth. I would suggest changing the course content to mention that this course is mostly around coding as it might help the user prepare a bit better... would have helped me :) Also, as I have done all 3 office 365 courses, one thing I have felt was that it could be worth starting the course or even before starting the course, asking the user to give 1 scenario that they face. This would be helpful as a practical application in each class to make it more personal for the user. The instructors did do this to a degree but i think if you specifically got a scenario, it would be even better.
