David is a very engaging teacher and extremely knowledgeable. The course was thorough and also David tailored the course to my needs. The course has made me feel much more confident in using Illustrator and has been extremely valuable. I would highly recommend David as a trainer.

David has been an amazing training both for Illustrator Essentials and InDesign Advanced. He is patient, explains topics thoroughly and guides both online and in-person students through all the steps with ease. As a working graphic designer, he is able to showcase real word scenarios and help us navigate and understand tricky questions/requests that clients often ask. David takes the time to show you little tips and tricks along the way that make things quicker and easier (e.g. keyboard shortcuts, generative AI, and cross-platform workings). He's very knowledgeable and brings a light and fun attitude to every class. Thank you, David.

Trainer was very knowledgeable in the system, very friendly, and loved his way of teaching. I did one day in classroom and one day from home, and both formats kept me engaged and interested.

I've done a few courses with City Desktop Training now, and I think this one was my favourite! Illustrator has not been my favourite program, but I found this course so easy to follow, and I learnt so much. I feel like of the courses I've done so far, this content is something that will help me most in my day to day work. Hi David, I loved your training sessions, they are so informative and you are a great teacher. My only request would be that there is just a little more time for the students to try and perform some of the skills in class just after you have demonstrated them.

I took a lot away from the session and look forward to putting it into practice. It was very engaging and everything was explained in detail. Will be recommending this course and trainer to fellow colleagues.

David was fantastic, he gave us real world application for all the tools and helped by adding context and went over each tool after we had learned it. it felt like a safe space to ask questions.
