Enjoyed the humour given the tough crowd! :) Thank you, Greg, for putting yourself in the position of a learner and avoiding going into autopilot mode. I appreciated all the tips, demonstrations in excel, and anything else that we need to be mindful of as beginners. Appreciated too the guidance and patience when I hit a snag with the downloads! I also like knowing that what we did today can be accessed to revisit the language, continue practicing the exercises, and having the means to view the solutions if we get stuck.

Training was good. I liked the emphasis on the foundations, however I do think that the second half of the training went a little too quick. I also think that actually working through a question on our own first to see if we do actually understand is better than just going through the solution - but I am mindful that we have limited time in the course.

There was a lot of information to take in, but it made sense, flowed in a logical fashion and each new section built on the previous one. John encouraged questions and made sure we were ok to move on. He has provided us with links for us to continue embedding what we learned today which is really helpful. I'm looking forward to the intermediate course in September!
