The course was excellent, but the afternoon sessions moved too fast. I would have liked more time to first watch the trainer and then time to submit the code and review the output. I was so busy working out which code to run, that it was hard to have time to think about the code.

Really engaging training, especially the first half of the day, and good to point to what is ahead in intermediate R. I am a bit unsure of the long time spent on base R graphing examples as it does seem really arcane knowledge, but appreciated the R gallery links provided. Could provide more support for getting R environment working before the course. Pacing of content could be worth reviewing (e.g. taking so long to get to correct Tidyverse processes, e.g. using the %>% operator to stack commands.

Tamara was very easy to understand and talk to and answered all my questions clearly. The content was delivered at a good pace. Switching between teaching tidyverse vs base R was slightly confusing at times but Tamara was using to show different ways of doing the same thing and the looking at the course content, it has been set out really well to go back and explore further and choose which path I want to go down. I am looking forward to the intermediate and hoping Tamara will be the trainer :-)
