As someone with a reasonable amount of coding experience, just not using Python, I found the pace that we went through things to be good (but I can see how it might be a bit harder to keep up if you were new to coding). For future sessions, it may be helpful to wait slightly longer after asking if anyone has questions before moving on the next part, and checking to see if anyone has questions they want to catch up on during the breaks.
