Learn how Microsoft Flow can improve your business

Microsoft Flow is a versatile tool, providing streamlined business solutions to its users.  The program triggers workflow events and ends them with an action in response to the event.  Here’s a quick look at four intermediate-level Flow ideas to get your business going this week.

Automate PDF document generation

Using Flow, you can automate PDF document generation from a .docx template.  This is particularly useful when it comes to very complex and technical PDF documents, which often involve filling the document with brief changes again and again.  Instead, you can create a Flow that allows users to fill in a specific form to fill in data, and have the document generate itself automatically.

Early meeting reminders

For those of us who sometimes have early meetings outside of normal business hours, keeping track of them can be difficult.  With Flow, you can set up reminders the night before, which send you an email with the meeting information, giving you time to prepare for the day ahead when it may have slipped your mind.

Notify you of customer ratings

Have you ever received a survey asking you to rate your experience regarding a product or service?  When a customer does the same for your business, Flow can help you track the results of their survey response and automatically highlight those which require attention, such as those with less than ideal results (of which you can set the standard for).  This makes it easier for users to dig deeper when necessary, to improve customer satisfaction.

Send a welcome email

Utilising a new software program can be overwhelming at times, and feeling welcome to a new suite of tools can alleviate stress.  Using Flow, we can ensure new users of Flow feel welcome and have the resources they need to be successful.  You can automate the sending out of welcome emails which can include general resources as well as company specific resources to help users on their learning journey.
